Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has definitely not been smooth but it has been worth it. My struggles have helped me see what’s more important to me. Dedicating the time to create music and working a 9 to 5 at one point was my biggest struggle. I soon realized if I could work this hard for someone else then I can work just as hard for myself by finding happiness in a career.
Bouncing from studio to studio looking for chemistry within producers and engineers like Jerry Parker, Wavy Davy, Jei Wes, and Dre Butterz solidifying MY sound is now my new “struggle”. Artist Development with Tiffany Renee and Denzel Person has helped with stage performance but this focus of a “signature sound” is keeping me anxious about releasing new music.
